When a family moves, many of the belongings they no longer need still have value. In Thailand, Santa Fe helps that value reach children and families within the local community.
On 20 August, our Thailand team completed another delivery of furniture, clothing, household goods, books and toys donated by our clients to the Human Development Foundation’s Mercy Centre in Bangkok. Santa Fe stored, collected and delivered the items, connecting the generosity of relocating families with a respected local organisation supporting vulnerable children and communities across the city.
For more than 15 years, Santa Fe Thailand has worked with the Mercy Centre and the Gift of Happiness Foundation to help useful belongings continue to serve a purpose. It is a practical expression of our approach to sustainability. Extending the life of household items reduces waste, supports circular ways of working and creates a positive impact within the communities where we live and operate. This long-standing commitment has helped Santa Fe Thailand receive recognition from AMCHAM Thailand for its social impact for 16 consecutive years.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our clients or the care of the people behind each collection. Thank you to Oat, who has connected Santa Fe with our charity partners for many years, and to our Operations team for coordinating every stage of the latest donation. Together, they have turned the practical process of moving into something that will continue to make a difference long after the move is complete.
